Class B read \(54\) books, which is \(6\) more than Class A’s \(48\) books. The dot counts alone are not comparable because each dot has a different value in the two displays.

1. Each symbol represents \(2\) cards. 2. Star: \(5 \times 2 = 10\). Moon: \(3 \times 2 = 6\). Sun: \(3 \times 2 = 6\). Cloud: \(3 \times 2 = 6\). 3. The total is \(10 + 6 + 6 + 6 = 28\). 4. The star count is greatest. 5. The difference is \(10 - 6 = 4\).

a) Star: \(10\), moon: \(6\), sun: \(6\), cloud: \(6\), total: \(28\). b) The star appears most often. c) There are \(4\) more star cards than cards of each other picture.
